If you don’t activate after 30 days, the product stops working and won’t let you scan or protect your computer.
Would someone please tell me what 3 user means? Three SEPERATE computers? Three people? What???
My problem is that I constantly back up and reformat my hard disks every couple months.
Will they remember it’s me? How?
Don’t like it one bit. BTW, you need to have an internet connection if you plan to install Windows 7. The disc won’t work.

Better than Norton, not as good as some free stuff that could be downloaded. Avast! for example, works like a charm and doesn’t take up HUGE amounts of memory like Norton and McAfee does. I had to uninstall these because of how badly they affected my system’s resources.
So I give it three stars because it certainly doesn’t deserve more but it’s not so bad, as long as you have lots of memory.

What a waste of money. I already had McAfee loaded on my computer and the subscription had run out. So every five minutes I get an annoying pop up message telling me I need to re-new. So after having major problems trying to get a multi computer renewal available by download I turned to buying this new in the box. Still will not load properly on more than one computer. Call tech support and can not understand the guy on the other end of the phone his english is so bad. Call back, same thing over again. Call McAfee to get a refund on the product because tech support is no help unless you speak Pakistani, guess who I get to talk to in customer service. Yep, I am back to speaking Pakistani!!!! Screw this..

I bought McAfee 2008 – 3 users version from Amazon.
After I installed in my laptop lenovo 510(vista), My laptop could not work properly.
I called the McAfee customer service, with his help I finally uninstalled it.
I then installed it in my Desktop E-machina (Windows 2000).
The computer became so slow, It was totally not working.
I thought some time antivirus itself was a kind of virus
I am not try McAfee 2010, Hope it would be better
